Coming Soon: Dye Workshop

The Threads of Peru team just got back from a very interesting dye workshop in the community of Rumira Sondormayo. We’ll have a full report on the blog soon. For now take a look at a couple photos of the dyeing process!

One of our weavers sprinkles cochineal (a crushed insect) into a vat of wool for dyeing.

Yellow, purple, and red wools lie by a riverside to dry during the workshop.
