14 Days at a Glance

Day 1: Lima (3 star hotel). Transfer to hotel, visit fair trade artisan organization.
Day 2:
Lima to Puno (flight, 3 star hotel). Lima city tour, flight to Juliaca, drive to Puno.
Day 3:
Puno to Taquile, Lake Titicaca (by boat, homestay). Take boat to visit floating islands of Uros, Taquile Island.
Day 4:
Taquile to Puno (boat, 3 star hotel). Weaving demonstration, overnight in Puno.
Day 5:
Puno to Cusco (private car, 3 star hotel). Drive to Cusco, stop at various points of interest (i.e. factory visit in Juliaca, visit famous weaving villages, Ausangate, etc).
Day 6:
Cusco (3 star hotel). Cusco city tour, visit key weaving enterprises.
Day 7:
Cusco to Chinchero. Chinchero weaving demonstrations. Optional: weaving workshop with locals.
Day 8:
Chayhuatire, Pisac, Sacred Valley (car, bicycle, hotel). Pisac ruins & market, weaving demonstrations in Chayhuatire, biking through Scared Valley.
Day 9:
Ollantaytambo, Sacred Valley (car, 3 star hotel). Visit local NGOs, weaving groups, ruins.
Days 10 & 11:
Hiking to Chaullacocha & Chupani (camping 1 night, hotel 1 night ). 3+ hour hike. Weaving demonstraions, camping, time with local weavers, children. Learn about TOP’s work in these villages. Hike to Lares.
Day 12:
Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes (train, 3 star hotel). Free morning to relax. Afternoon train to Aguas. Hot Springs.
Day 13:
Machu Picchu to Cusco (bus, train, car, 3 star hotel). Early rise to Machu Picchu ruins, Late afternoon train to Cusco.
Day 14:
Cusco to Lima (flight to Lima). Day of shopping in Cusco markets or relax until late afternoon flight to Lima.

A 10 day itinerary is available for those short of time, you can fly directly to Lima and connect with your late afternoon flight to Cusco, meeting the group at your hotel.
